Quick Overview

Stoneware Hen covered casserole with 1.5L capacity best for baking casseroles and serving with pzazz.
Based on the popular Tuscan tradition to have a rooster in the kitchen, we wanted those roosters to have a companion so we were inspired to bring you a happy hen featured here in CHERISHED FRIENDS by Andrzej Pachom. Cherished Friends is from the Signature Series and painted by Master Artisans of Zaklady Ceramiczne "BOLESLAWIEC". Each piece from the Signature Series is signed by the artist who painted it and branded UNIKAT.Imagine a combination of tradition, history, and modern needs and you will understand the magic behind Polish Stoneware by Pottery Avenue. Our hen covered casserole was designed by world famous Janina Bany-Kozłowska, the main designer at Zaklady Ceramiczne since 1974 and author of 1600 shapes in global circulation. She has participated in many national and international art exhibitions and international trade fairs in Poznań, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and New York. In 1986 she was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit, in 2014 she received the Honorary Award of the Mayor of Bolesławiec for the promotion of the city, and in December 2014 the Minister of Culture and National Heritage awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis to the artist.
