Give your baked goods a love inspired designer touch with the help of this WEDDING pattern 4.5-inch embossing rolling pin from Pottery Avenue. This wooden roller pin comes engraved with intricate and beautiful motifs that stamp onto the surface of the dough as you run the pins across. Rolling Instructions:

• Roll dough out with regular rolling pin to 4-mm
• Emboss with one roll of medium pressure. If you get dough in your roller, apply less pressure
• Begin rolling 1-inch from the dough bottom edge to help avoid dough rolling up with the pin
• Cut away non-embossed dough and repeat

Care Instructions:

• Prior to first use, apply oil such as wood oil, vegetable, olive, flax etc.
• Clean with stiff bristled brush
• Soap and water when necessary
• Pat thoroughly dry
• Re oil as needed.

Light and buttery shortbread cookies are laced with a hint of coffee flavor.  Coffee Shortbread Cookies have a light coffee flavor that doesn't overpower the delicate shortbread cookie.


1 cup butter

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon coffee extract - use any flavoring you wish, almond

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon coffee grounds - use can substitute any flavor you wish, espresso powder,

1 1/2 - 2 cups flour


Preheat oven to 350.

Cream the butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract, coffee extract, salt, and coffee grounds (if using).Slowly add the flour a little at a time until the dough is no longer sticky and comes together. Stir in the salt and coffee grounds.

Chill the dough for at least one hour.

Roll the dough to 3/8” thickness and cut using your favorite shapes. Place on a baking sheet lined with a silpat mat or parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 12 – 15 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges. Allow cooling in the pan for 5 minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to one week, if they last that one. SEP-WEDDING
