Imagine a combination of tradition, history, and modern needs you will understand the magic behind Polish Stoneware by Pottery Avenue. Our fancy rimmed casserole was designed by world famous Janina Bany-Kozłowska, the main designer at Zaklady Ceramiczne since 1974 and author of 1600 shapes in global circulation. She has participated in many national and international art exhibitions and international trade fairs in Poznań, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan and New York. In 1986 she was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit, in 2014 she received the Honorary Award of the Mayor of Bolesławiec for the promotion of the city, and in December 2014 the Minister of Culture and National Heritage awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture - Gloria Artis to the artist.
Uncle Ross’s Party Mix 2 pounds of mixed nuts 7 ounces of Cheerios 6 ounces rice Chex 6 ounces wheat Chex 6 ounces corn Chex One bag stick pretzels 1 cup of butter melted 1 cup bacon grease melted 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 tablespoon garlic powder Melt butter and bacon grease, over low heat. Add Worcestershire, and garlic mix to combine. In a large roaster or metal bowl combine all other ingredients. Pour seasoning liquid over dry ingredients and mix gently. Place in the oven at 250 degrees for 2 1/2 hours, stirring every half hour. Pour out onto a baking sheet to cool completely. Store in airtight containers. I don’t like wheat Chex, so I substitute holiday goldfish crackers in mine. This recipe makes a ton! Which is good, because people will want to take some home with them!
